New Balance has been a staple in the sneaker industry for years, with their 990 series being particularly popular among sneaker enthusiasts. Recently, Teddy Santis, founder of Aime Leon Dore, took over the reins at New Balance and introduced many new colorways to the brand’s lineup. However, the 998 model was left behind, until now.
Thanks to a collaboration with Ronnie Fieg, the 998 is finally getting the attention it deserves and is ready to enter the MADE in USA collection. The shoe features a sleek grey suede colorway with navy accents, which highlights the iconic “N” logo and trims. The rest of the shoe is constructed with neutral suede, matching the lighter finishes of the mesh inserts, sole unit, embroidered branding, and other features.
Although the release date has yet to be confirmed, these sneakers are expected to be available soon on NewBalance.com and select retailers. In the meantime, take a closer look at the official images and get excited about the upcoming release.
