As 2024 draws nearer, initial hands-on images of the Nike Kobe 8 Protro “Venice Beach” have started to emerge across various social media platforms.
Update November 7th, 2023: As per zsneakerheadz, the Kobe 8 Protro “Venice Beach” is anticipated to hit the shelves on April 13th, 2024.
Renowned for its lightweight full-length Lunarlon cushioning system and exceptional on-court grip, the Nike Kobe 8 Protro is set to reintroduce the iconic “Venice Beach” colorway as part of its recent resurgence in 2024.
Following Nike’s announcement of relaunching the late Kobe Bryant’s brand on Mamba Day – August 24th – with the Kobe 8 Protro “Triple-White”, Bryant’s celebrated eighth signature shoe is set to bring back its original OG color scheme in Summer 2024. Initially launched in 2013, paying homage to the sandy Venice Beach located approximately 16 miles from the then Staples Center, this vibrant colorway features teal, red, yellow, and silver accents throughout the mesh upper. Turquoise adorns the signature TPU heel counter, while the medial yellow Swooshes and vivid orange sock liner stand out against the grayscale backdrop of the heel.
