This release marks another tribute to the baseball legend at the beginning of the MLB season. Alongside, Nike will also introduce a special edition Nike Alpha Huarache Elite 4 Low basketball cleat.
Continuing its tradition of honoring Jackie Robinson’s monumental impact on breaking the color barrier in Major League Baseball, Nike presents this Air Max 1 ’86 in a refined color scheme of white, dark navy blue, gold, and gum. Crafted with premium materials like soft suede and perforated suede leather, the design features golden accents throughout, including lace dubrae, eyelets, Nike Air branding, and a ’42’ patch on the tongue’s pull-tab.
