NIKE, Inc. has unveiled Nike Unite, a new retail concept that emphasizes community in the age of social distancing. The Nike Unite stores are currently available in five locations across the US, UK and South Korea, with four more locations coming soon to the US and China.
These retail spaces feature local maps in fitting rooms, contactless checkout options, in-store displays near the entrance that highlight local partnerships encouraging sports, and sustainable offerings like reusable shopping bags and the Nike Reuse-a-Shoe program.
The Nike Unite concept also extends beyond the walls of each store through digital programs that enable athletes of all levels to indulge in the community aspect of sport. Made to Play and Nike Community Ambassador offerings also allow participants to get closer to sport and one another.
