Hailing from Harlem, Teyana Taylor is a true multi-talent, excelling in singing, acting, dancing, and choreography. Now, in 2023, Taylor is set to achieve yet another milestone in her career: a collaboration with Jordan Brand. The Teyana Taylor x Air Jordan 1 Zoom CMFT “A Rose From Harlem,” first teased earlier this year, pays homage to Taylor’s roots and her 2018 record, “Rose in Harlem.”
The colorway prominently features “Gym Red,” reflecting the vibrancy of Taylor’s heritage. Intriguing details, such as the “A ROSE FROM HARLEM” text discreetly placed along the backside of the ankle flaps, add depth to the design, embracing the overarching themes. Notably, the Swooshes on each pair differ in color and size, resembling roses with thorn-inspired embroidery and zig-zag stitching.
